Pineapples tastes good when it is roasted. It is a sweet and delicious
fruit
but once you have tasted cooked pineapples with sherbet of cream cheese and caramel, you would never like to eat it other ways. It finishes a meal in a clean and delicious way, mostly in summer. It is a fruit which you can eat raw or even cooked. It is also rich in many minerals and vitamins which are quite beneficial to health. You can delightfully eat this juicy fruit which is tasty as well as healthy. Pineapples can be used with different desserts and custards or just by adding whipped cream to it. During the hot summer months, it serves as a refreshing drink among the common mass. Its tangy and sweet taste makes it a popular drink. The beneficial nutrition and enzymes will not just help to be healthy but will also improve your complexion. It is also rich in vitamin C so properties of antioxidants are also present. It is also said that pineapples helps in digestion so regular intake can be quite healthy. It has property to help cure cancer, anti- inflammatory and diuretic property. Ingredients
6 pineapples
4 tablespoons granulated sugar
a walnut-size piece of butter
Syrup with spices:
2 pints water
1 1/3 lbs. spices
2 cinnamon sticks
2 vanilla pods
4 cloves
4 tablespoons potato starch
Cream Cheese
Sherbet
:
1.87 lbs. water
1 lb. sugar
3 1/6 oz. lemon
1/3 lb. glucose
1 lb. cream cheese
Preparation Instructions
1. Boil some water adding sugar in it.
2. Add some spices like vanilla pod, cinnamon sticks, cloves etc in the water and let everything infuse.
3. Make a thin paste of potato starch with cold water. Mix properly so that no lumps are formed. Add it to the boiling sugar syrup. When you find it gets thickened, remove from flame and keep aside to cool.
4. Prepare sugar syrup by boiling some sugar in water.
5. When it cools down, glucose, lemon juice and cream cheese is mixed with it. When all are mixed properly, allow it to freeze.
6. Clean a pine apple and wash it and cut in equal size pieces.
7. Heat a pan and add 4 table spoon of sugar to it. You have to heat until the sugar melts and turns into caramel.
8. Add some salted butter to the pineapples and cook it in freshly prepared caramel. Cook it for about 7 minutes, stirring regularly.
9. When it is done, place the pineapples in a serving dish. Pore some syrup over the pineapple bed and season it beautifully with spices. At the end put 1 scoop of freeze sherbet of cream cheese on top and serve it.
