The Spiced Dessert Coffee Recipe

The drink is topped with whipped cream for an elegant presentation. For convenience, you can use instant coffee or instant espresso coffee but if you have a coffee maker or an espresso machine, go ahead and use freshly brewed coffee—it will be a lot better in flavor and aroma.

¼ cup instant coffee or instant espresso coffee
4 cups boiling water
24 cracked cardamom seeds
Granulated sugar
Whipped cream

1. In a coffee carafe or pot, combine the coffee, cardamom, and hot water.
2. Add the sugar to taste and serve in small cups topped with whipped cream.
